Job Role – Website Developer

We’re looking for an experienced mid-weight developer to join our fun, talented, dynamic team. Popcorn are a leading web design and development agency based in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex and have been established for over 25+ years.

Your duties will involve:

  • Producing HTML/CSS from signed off designs by our graphic designer
  • Maintaining websites by implementing new features or general updates
  • Updating our customers on the work you produce and assist them when required.

We're looking for a candidate that has:

  • A strong understanding of HTML5/CSS3
  • A good understanding of JavaScript
  • A good understanding of PHP
  • A good understanding of WordPress
  • Good communication skills
  • An eagerness to progress in a career of web development

Optional but desirable:

  • Experience in PHP PSR Standards and Recommendations
  • Experience in GIT version control
  • Experience in SCSS/Sass
  • Experience in using BEM/ITCSS for CSS structure
  • Experience in NodeJS/NPM
  • Experience in JS frameworks including VueJS, Angular and jQuery
  • Experience in Linux administration
  • Experience in Search Engine Optimisation and management
