In a recent announcement Google have said they want to help users understand when a site may load slowly, while rewarding sites delivering fast experiences.

There are a number of reasons a website could be slow, poor coding for example, but no need to panic!  They haven’t announced when this will be introduced so you have time to look at your website and make sure it isn’t named and shamed.
