As Christmas is approaching, and I know some of you will be having sleepless nights due to the excitement of it all, I thought I’d be kind and write something that’ll send you off to sleep in no time…
This year, Social Media has found itself at the very heart of many businesses’ marketing strategies, working in conjunction with the more traditional marketing approaches. Alongside advertising, it has also been used as a platform for customer service and support.
Did you know?
Android and Apple users spend 24% of their mobile browsing on Social Media,
Instead of searching for anything random or useful on Wikipedia,
Younger surfers prefer to use Instagram, Tumblr and SnapChat,
With Facebook, the new hotspot for sharing photos of your cat.
Ads have become more successful and have much greater standing,
As has social networking feeds, perhaps due to good branding,
And Photo sharing has certainly become big this year,
Thanks to Instagram and Pinterest and others in this sphere.
It’s still not that mainstream, but Google+ is on the up,

2013 saw the introduction of more exciting features,
Making Google+ pages now the wildest of creatures.
