Once commisioned our first step is to appoint a project lead who will often be the designer or developer who helped produce the initial estimate. The project lead is responsible for the day to day management of the project and is supported by the project director in this work Where possible projects are managed by key milestones and the most significant of these are:
- project requirements / technical specifications sign-off of the Sitemap
- Development and sign-off of Interaction designs
- Sitemap and wireframes
- Development and sign-off of Page Mock-ups
- Agreement of the Content Delivery Plan
- Content Drops (as many as agreed)
- Production of Page Templates
- Completion of client-side and server-side code
- Completion of page authoring
- Completion of user testing
- Final website sign-off
